CHARITY EVENTS & FUNDRAISERS

Put the FUN in fundraiser!  Have a fundraiser that people are excited to come to - not just for the cause but for the fun too!  Let Las Vegas Knights help raise funds for your cause!

Casino Night parties are an excellent way for non-profit organizations to generate revenue.  The first thing that you need to be aware of is that there are two types of fundraisers:  A Casino Themed Fundraiser or a Charitable Gaming Fundraiser.

Las Vegas Knights only provides casino themed fundraiser events at this time!

Casino Themed Parties VS. Charitable Gaming Parties

Casino Themed Parties

Casino Themed Party - Pros

  • No license needed for any group.

  • No pressure to find volunteers to learn, deal games, and show up to the event.

  • Have a professional staff that are there to entertain, teach, and engage with guests.

  • Guests have the opportunity to win prizes.

  • No chance of a big winner walking away with all of your raised funds.

Casino Themed Party - Cons

  • No opportunity to earn extra money through the casino. Anyone that pays to get through the door gets to play casino games for free or a donation.

  • Costs are higher due to paying for dealer/entertainer staff.

Charitable Gaming Parties

Charitable Gaming – Pros

  • People pay money for chips and only cash out what they have left.

  • Draw large crowds due to gambling aspect.

Charitable Gaming – Cons

  • Charitable Organization and Casino Supplier must be licensed through the State of MI.

  • Charitable Organization must provide volunteers to deal gaming tables, handle chips and run the event.  No one can be paid.

  • You run the risk of a big winner, which takes money away from the charity.  It’s possible that the charity loses money on the entire event! People always say, “The House always wins.” That is only the case when the house never closes and deals millions of hands.

  • State Officials have the right to show up to your event at any given time. If they find that anything is out of place or any rules/laws are being broken, they will shut down the event and fines can be assessed. Licenses can also be revoked permanently.
